Biography
CumberlandLeRoy T. Mooney, 77, of East Barrows St., passed away on Wednesday in the Memorial Hospital, Pawtucket. He was the beloved husband of Joan F. (Faunce) Mooney.
Born in Cumberland he was the son of the late Alfred E. and Evelyn M. (Follows) Mooney, he was a life long Cumberland resident.
He was employed by Shea's Auto Body, Cumberland for 45 years until his retirement.
Besides his wife he leaves a daughter, Kathleen Mitchell of Cumberland and three brothers, Edwin Mooney of West Warwick, Charles Mooney and James Mooney both of Pawtucket and two grandchildren. The was also the father of the late Christine Mooney and brother of the late Earl, Alfred and John Mooney and Bernice Wheeler.
A celebration of his life will be held Monday with services at 11 a.m in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Rd. Rte. 122, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cumberland.
